At Global Fine Gems, we offer a wide range of rare and exquisite gemstones. Our collection includes some of the world’s most sought-after gems, each with its unique beauty and characteristics.
Paraiba Tourmaline is named after the Paraiba State, located in the north-east of Brazil, where this very unique, intense neon blue kind of tourmaline was discovered by Mr. Heitor Dimas Barbosa in the late 1980s. In the middle of the 2000s, paraiba tourmaline was also found in Mozambique and Nigeria.
Currently, we can see the stone in some of the finest jewelry in the world, and it is one of the favorites among celebrities, high-end designers, and wealthy collectors due to its rarity and the unique vibrance of its color.
Global Fine Gems works closely with some of the most important Paraiba miners around the world and counts on the expertise of our professionals in the entire process, from the acquisition of the rough material until the final polishing, to ensure we provide the finest quality of Paraiba to create lifelong memories.
Found mostly in Brazil, Mozambique, Nigeria, and Afghanistan. Rubellites are tourmalines with reasonably saturated dark pink to red colors and medium to dark tones. They make excellent jewelry stones.
Rubellite demands meticulous analysis during the acquisition and very precise skills to slice, preform, and cut. We proudly have a knowledgeable team that provides the best quality of our gems.
Morganite was first discovered in Madagascar in the early 1900s and was dubbed “the pink Berryl.” Its soft pink hue is reminiscent of a delicate rose, making it a popular choice for engagement rings and other fine jewelry. Morganite was named after the New York banker John Pierpont Morgan, a.k.a “J. P. Morgan”. The entire world loves Morganite, and we are happy to keep a variety of colors, sizes, and shapes in our inventory.
Spinel can be found in several countries in Africa and Asia. Is a rare and highly prized gemstone that comes in a variety of colors such as red, pink, purple, gray, blue, etc. 8-Moss scale hardness makes spinel a great option for fine jewelry. Considered the most underappreciated gem, spinel became stronger in the market, especially after some of the most famous rubies in history turned out to be spinel. Large red gems, such as the “Black Prince’s Ruby” and the “Timor Ruby’ in the Crown Jewels of England, were confirmed to be large red spinels.
The stone is responsible for countless trips by our team to Africa and South Asia to get the most special ones direct from the source.
